SustainTrue Pty Ltd · Annual review · FY26
A mock annual review for an unlisted Australian software company, built the way SustainTrue argues reporting should be built: every figure carries the evidence behind it, and every figure that has none says so.
§02 · Basis of preparation
Recorded
A fact the company itself publishes, carrying the date it was stated and the page it came from. Reproduced here unchanged. Nine of the figures in this deck are recorded.
Rendered solid, in the deck's numeral face.
10 articles published, each dated by the company1Illustrative
A stand-in. SustainTrue publishes no revenue, headcount, customer count or client name, and labels every dashboard figure on its own site as representative data rather than a client position.
Rendered hollow, so an unsupported number is visible at four metres.
A$2.4m annual recurring revenue2Every figure on the slides that follow carries one of the two marks, and every mark resolves to a numbered line at the foot of its own slide. The complete register is on slide 12.

§05 · Traction
A private company publishes no operating figures, and SustainTrue publishes none. The shape below is what an annual review of a company at this stage would carry. It is drawn hollow because nothing supports it.
Annual recurring revenue, A$m. Axis begins at zero.1
§06 · The obligation

THRESHOLDS IN CONSULTATION
§07 · Route to market
"You advise on ESG strategy, risk and reporting. SustainQ lets you deliver it. Turn client data, policies and evidence into carbon, climate disclosure and risk outputs under your own brand. You keep the client and the advice."1
"Run sustainability data, evidence and reporting on one operating layer without adding an enterprise-sized internal team. Work directly with SustainTrue or through your existing ESG adviser."2
of new accounts arriving through an adviser3 — illustrative. The company states that it sells through advisers as well as directly, and publishes no split between the two.
§08 · Evidence and method
| Commitment | In the company's words | As at |
|---|---|---|
| Traceable by design | Every material output retains its source, method, factor, assumption and review history. Estimates are clearly identified. | Aug 2026 |
| Grounded in standards | Methods aligned to the GHG Protocol and mapped to AASB S2, ISSB, UK SRS and CSRD, with the applicable methodology recorded alongside the output. | Aug 2026 |
| Clear data ownership | Clients retain ownership of their data. How information is stored, processed and used is documented clearly. | Aug 2026 |
| Clear scope | The company organises the data, methods and evidence that a client's own review and assurance processes rely on. | Aug 2026 |
| Built for scrutiny | Human review and approval controls, an auditor collaboration workspace with role-based view and co-authoring. | Aug 2026 |
§09 · Published this year

§10 · Corporate citizenship
ANNOUNCED 24 MARCH 2026
SustainTrue joined Pledge 1%, which it describes as a global movement that empowers companies of all sizes to drive positive social impact through their business. It commits one per cent of its product, profit, equity, and/or employee time to a charity of its choosing.1
The company states that specific charity partners will be announced as programs are confirmed. Nothing further has been published since the announcement, so the three measures below are recorded as not available rather than estimated.
§11 · Not reported
None of the above is a departure. An unlisted proprietary company is not subject to ASX Listing Rule 4.7.4 or 4.10.3, lodges nothing with a market operator, and owes no continuous disclosure. The list is here because an absence a reader has to infer is worse than one the document states.
